I returned the CMT-340se and kept the Sierra-1 Piano Black L/C/R speakers. Initially, I planned to build my own speaker stands. Actually, I did build a prototype stand which worked well, but they were bulkier than I wanted.

I wanted a stand that would blend better with our decor. So for $159.99 (free shipping), I ordered a set of Lovan 24" Affiniti stands in Piano Black.

It took me a little over an hour to fill all four columns with sand. The stands come with spiked feet, and are very stable. The finish matches well with the PB Sierra-1 speakers.

Thanks guys.

I bought the stands at RacksandStands.com (a division of CSN Stores). Fortunately, the stands worked out.

While RacksandStands had excellent customer service, great packaging and timely shipping, if you decided that you don't want the item for some reason, their fees will kill you. Believe it or not, the customer service representative tried to sell me some crazy form of insurance that basically covered all of their crazy fees, if I decided to return the stands! I bought these stands based on the web photos. I'm glad they were high quality.

IMO, I would recommend avoiding the CSN Stores (they go by several names on the web) unless your sure of the product you want.

They really do look great. By the way, Amazon does appear to have these, as well as the 29" version.

Yeah, I saw them on Amazon. The taller stand would have been to high for my setup.
