oh what a year and a half makes (question inside)

About 1.5yrs ago, living on a tight budget, I bought my 340SE's pair and a 340SE center channel. My plan was to save up some cash, etc and then move on to subs and surrounds.
Surfing around for subs, I ventured back to the Ascend page just to see if anything was new... HOLY COW!!!

Now there's a great new Sierra-1! (very jealous)
and I read that there might be subs coming???
Looks like Ascend continues to be moving forward. Congrats to you all!!!

It seems there isn't much news leaked about the potential sub/s.

***QUESTION STARTS HERE***
My question is, anyone have a guess as to price range for said sub, and should I wait for it? Is it really coming soon? or will it be a while yet.
If its going to be a while yet, any other recommendations?
FWIW I run my setup with an HK 635.

we're all dying to know the same thing. i need a sub bad for my setup, and the fact that there could be an ascend sub on the way is why i don't have one yet.

if i were to buy one now, i'd most likely go with Hsu (http://www.hsuresearch.com/) as they seem to be quite popular with the ascend crowd as well as others.
