This is a little heads up for those in need of free equipment.
When you go to Home Depot or Lowes, take your kids with you. I went the other day with my 6 kids, all whom love to find "treasures" under the shelves and what not. I was in the hardware aisle/ferreteria looking for bolts and screws from a home project when my twin boys ran up all excited.
They had found 4 banana plugs under the shelves by the electronics/HT hardware section. I showed the guy working that section of the floor and he told me if they find loose things under the shelves they are welcome to keep it. So i came home with 4 banana plugs and lots of odd screws, bolts, nuts, washers, etc...
The guy working there actually pulled out his magnetic "pick up" stick and helped my kids find more treasures.
