Is the 170 center made to lay horizontally or is it just a 170 sold singly? Does it have the same grill/logo placement?

Thanks
Jon

as far as I know, the 170SE center is single 170SE. The grille is the same with the logo re-positioned.

Anyone have one of these? I found a picture on the site of one laying sideways but the grill is off. Can't seem to find any other specifics.

I had a 170 center in my original Ascend setup and placed it on its side on top of my TV.

What other specifics are you looking for?

Guess I just wanted to see a picture with the grill on and find out if there was any differences. For instance the sierra center looks like the tweeter has been turned 180 in the picture. Tried the Documents section in Support to look at the manual but doesn't seem to be working. Any way I'm going to buy L/R/C so I guess I'll find out. Thanks all.

The tweeter is not rotated in a center CBM-170.

No reason to, the 170 Tweeter doesn't have that Elliptical Baffle(?) that the Sierra does.
It's round, so it wouldn't matter (as you know of course).

Hi Jon,

We can orient the speaker either vertically or horizontally.. Your choice :)
