Hi jvillas,
Thanks for the great article. I was curious since my Arcam receiver allows me to utilize my back 2 channels for either zone two or one can bi-wire the front pair speakers, using a separate channel for the lows and highs. (so my HT now becomes 5.1 not 7.1).

So I bi-wired my 340-SEs per the Ascend manual for what seams clearer sound and wider soundstage, all with less fatigue - at least that's the theory). Maybe this tweek is a waste of time, but it sure sounds great.

I have since noticed the pics of the new Sierra's, and there appears to be only one set of wire posts. Has there been any discussion regarding this change fom the SE's from either davef or the gallery?

Thanks for any input, as I also am thinking of upgrading to Sierras.

Hi Timbre, As always if your bi-amped 340s sound great to you thats all that matters. Trust what you hear and enjoy.

I believe you may be the first to ask about bi-amping the Sierras. At least I am not aware of any threads on this subject.
