Well I would like to personally Thanks these 2 guys for intruding me to truly amazing speaker.

First Curtis…for inviting me to his home to listen to the Ascend 340’s and the 170’s...they are both a very natural sounding speaker… and that’s what I was looking for.

Next but, not least David & James….for making me feel very comfortable with the purchase…there was no pressure and was even told me multiple times “ If you don’t like the way they sound you can return them…no problems ” This was a huge issue for me as I was installing these in a customers house. I know what I like but, you never know what others prefer.

Well…the end result is…the customer loves the sound of his new Ascend 7.1 surround system.
Room size is 17' long X 10' wide.
3- CBM 170 SE’s across the front
4- HTM 200’s
1- HSU VTF3 MKII

Give James a call on Monday morning and have him send you (2) HTM-200 grilles configured horizontally so the side surrounds look right.

Hey Ray!

No need to thank me.

Just some background info.....Ray is part of group of enthusiasts here in the LA area. I have met with them for a couple of events, one was visit/tour of a movie mixing soundstage, and another was a 2 hour Q/A session with Microsoft about HD-DVD.

Later this month, Ray is hosting a session at his house....he is getting a new 1080p projector.

When he stopped by my place for a listen it was on the way to a session with a local A/V shop that I setup to check out some 1080p projectors and listen to some speakers.

It is this group of people that have abosolutely ruined me when it comes to video. :)
