I can buy the Polk monitor 60 less than $400 pr The Boston VR2 $400 a pr or should I get the 340's Will be matched with velodyne dps 12, Denon 987 and
Polk rsi85 in wall rears will also need to match with new center

It's best to have your mains match your center. What do you have for a center?

Can you bring the Polk's or the Boston's home for a test drive? If ya can, order a pair of 340SE's and do an in-home comparison. The differences will be apparent. Which one you perfer will make for an interesting write-up.
All of us here are Ascendoholics but we realize it's not for everyone. There is no substitute for in-home comparison. That's one of the reasons that Ascend eats part of the shipping cost on their speakers. The trip is usually one way. ;)
