Well the 340SE's were delivered this morning so I ran home for lunch to bring them in and unpack them. At the moment they're sitting on top of a set of vintage 80's EPI T/E320's until I get the stands assembled tonight. My daughter had left her copy of the Wicked soundtrack in the CD player so I let that play, it has good sound and is recorded and mastered well. The vocals are incredible, sounds as though the performance is in the living room.
So far, so good. I'm very happy with the few tracks I heard and can't wait until they get a few hours on them. They're primary function is 2 channel stereo with an Outlaw RR2150 and a Cambridge Audio Azur 540C v2 CD player, this is going to be a very nice system for music with the Ascends the icing on the cake.
