Small comparison next weekend

Hey Guys,

I placed my order for some 170SE's last night. I will be comparing them with Monitor Audio Silver S2's, Triangle Titus, and Focal 806v's next weekend. I am only running a Marantz SR5500 receiver and a Marantz 4300 CD player. Should be fun-I am looking forward to it. :D

I had them to test as well and they do NOT have the same rating or ability to handle the same power as the Ascends. I think you will like the look of the 806V but the sound and quality and power that comes from the Ascends... I assure you that you will come near blowing the 806's before you even fatigue the 170's!

Well it looks the comparison wont be until middle/end of next week. The 170SE's aren't going to ship until around Thursday this week.
