How does ceiling mounting affect the ceiling?(htm 200s)
Is it easy?
or

Wall mounting really isn't a possibility(or is it?) because it would be double the distance away.

Ceiling mounting the 200's are a breeze. No worries there. Just use a quality mount like B-Tech or omnimount. They make ceiling mounts specifically for those types of applications

Ceiling mounting is not recommended due to perceived audible localization. It is recommended that they be above your head but behind you and firing forward or at an agle out for best sound. You can mount them via ceiling, but if you have an alternate option, do that! You can also recess them in the wall as they are a closed box deisgn ;)

Why would mounting from the ceiling cause localization?

i think as long as they are not firing directly down on top of a listener, you won't get too much localization. if i understand your situation correctly, there is quite a bit of space behind the listening position in your room, so the back wall would be too far for the surround speakers. just make sure the in-ceiling speakers are behind the listening position enough for the sound to diffuse, rather than firing directly at the listener, and you'll be fine.
