Just ordered now the wait...

Hey guys!

Well I just joined the Ascend family, and now the wait begins. I've ordered two 170SE's and a 340SE for the center and HTM200's for the rear. The 340s are on backorder so here was what I'm thinking here...

I'm a kid with new toys so of course the second I get the 170s I'm going to want to use them. Do you think that I can use one of the 200s for the center as a short term solution and just keep my current b**e surrounds until I get my 340?

Absolutely....then, when you finally get the 340c you'll be blown away at the improvement!! :D

Or, you could run in phantom center mode with the 170s (most receivers have this type of option).

Okay... in a flash of BRILLIANCE, I've decided to try BOTH methods and then let you guys know what works the best. Heh... Sometimes it helps to actually think. :D

I'm in the same situation! I ordered mine today,340's across the front and 170's for the rear. I should have the 170s next week, but the 340s..... I just sold my Paradigm Studios to do this, should be fun!! :D
