Just one hesitation?

I'm ready to buy the 340 mains and center, however my one concern is the rear port. I tried to call Ascend and sent some emails but I haven't heard back, so hopefully someone on the forum can answer my question. Since this is rear-ported, does it have to space around it..especially in the back? I will have to put one of the mains in a 22 x 10.5 cabinet with a bunch of room behind it.....what do you think?

When did you call or send the email? Might have to wait until Monday to hear back.

The port does need room to breathe. How much room behind the speaker will there be? I know some have had success with CBM-170's in a cabinet, but I do not know about the CMT-340's.

There will be a bunch of room behind it....can have at least 12". However, the 12" behind will basically be the hollow part of the bar....you know what I mean. What do you think?
