I would always like to see squared-off front views of each product. Customers can then include the photos in renderings of how the total installation will look.
So a direct head-on view of the front of the speaker? We have tried this in the past, problem with this view is getting the lighting right so the speaker looks natural, it is quite difficult to get this view to look good which is why you almost never see images of a speaker using this view.
What you are saying makes sense though and I will try a few things tonight.
I found on my products that when trying to get a good square-on front shot that shooting them from a distance with a telephoto lens results in a much more natural image than shooting closer.
