Replying to my own thread: the RSL Speed woofer 10S and it is a great sub for the money! Would have loved a Rhythmic but wanted wireless connection & had limited $. Plenty of tight tuneful base in 9x13x19 room open to a dining room at one end. Blends beautifully with Sierra 1's!

A friend had a M&K sub with dual push-pull 12" woofers. That thing was very tight and tactile. Watching "Super Speedway" with it you could feel the changes in the pavement as the formula 1 car went around the track. Crazy.

I love my 12" sealed Rythmik though, very good bang for the buck.

I've heard good things about the RSL. I'm a JL Audio fan. I know everyone says they're too expensive, but you can get some really good deals if you buy used.
