rossk, i'm not either of the two you asked, but i'll toss my two cents in...

i have 2 ice powered avr's (the aforementioned susano and a sc-05)... imo, they are "as good, if not better" (whatever that means) as previous amplifications sources that i have had... additionally, i also have an ice amp in my car, which works very well, is quite compact and is very efficient (important in a car, imo, unless you are really willing to spend major bucks to do big time electrical upgrades)... imo, the big advantages of ice amplification are efficiency and size...

that being said, if you take tube amps out of the equation, i live on the "skeptic" side of being able to tell amplifiers apart from one another. processing, otoh, is a different story.
