it's really the only logical thing for them to do at the moment... best buy is recommending blu-ray, walmart is discontinuing hd-dvd, blockbuster is going all blu-ray, hd-dvd only has 2 major studios left on board, and most importantly, engadget put it on its deathwatch: http://www.engadget.com/2008/02/15/h...g-it-official/

It's too bad. I was purple (HD-A2 and a PS3), but I really felt like HD-DVD was the more elegant solution. Oh well, what can you do?
