I made a shelf-type wall mount out of 5/8" baltic birch ply. It is braced solidly to minimze vibrations, and is sturdy enough to shelve a 340c. I let the speaker hang over the front by about 2" to allow the port 2-1/2" of freespace. It is mounted a bit high right above a plasma screen, so I used big wads of blu-tack under the back to get a slight downward tilt. With the blu-tack, there is no worry of the speaker falling.
