Something I never realized before...

Joss Whedon wrote the script for "Alien Resurrection".

I think he did some screenplay doctoring for them, and actually wrote three different versions. He said in an interview that they changed everything he did. I'll try to find the article. I bet the movie would have been a lot better had they followed his ideas.

He also wrote for the early episodes of "Roseanne".

Hmm...I'll have to find that interview so I can be more specific I remember the point was that movie was not faithful to what he wrote or something. Hmmm again.
