    this is also good news for those who may want to grab a 950 pre/pro. i just saw one sell for $450 on ebay lastnight! holy shh-nikes!

    Looks like the Dac's and DSP are the same as the SN, 5 year transferable warranty is nice.

    This thing has a cool feature called "2 channel sub offset". It basically allows you to store different subwoofer trim levels for 2.1 and multi-channel. This is great news to me. My Yamaha 5790 will let you store 2 different sets of channel levels.....one for the multi-channel inputs and one for everything else. So, my levels are fine for multi-channel music, fine for movies, but since the same levels are used for movies and 2 channel stereo, my sub is always too hot for music. It's because I run it a few dB's hot for movies, which is great for that, but it sucks for 2.1. This is one of my few grips with the Yamaha.
