well, im in a not-so-good situation here. im at college and the speakers arrived at my home(away from college) about 3 days ago. im not able to go home to get them for another week-1/2. talk about being anxious...

Yeah that does suck, and I thought it was bad having to wait another day for my sub and AVR to arrive before I could hear them. Well in the end it should be worth it. Keep us posted.

I just ordered the 340cc and was considering ordering the l/r version. I'm wondering how some of you that already own the l/r place yours. Did you buy the stands that they sell for $140? I would love to get them but the long shape of the speaker makes me worry about where I'm going to put them. Thanks, David

Curtis, if you had to use the speakers without a sub for music, would you still go for the 340s or would that tip you towards some other bookshelf speaker?
(other opinions most welcome too, of course!).
