How to bring ELX Raal to life at low volume levels?

Having a real SPL Meter on hand is always very useful. I have found the various apps to be nearly useless to the point of being dangerous. Meaning someone could be listening at MUCH louder volume levels than they think they are based on the app readings, which can result in damage to one's hearing.

Dave, what SPL meter do you recommend?

SPL meter we use is a Protek SL-100, which is highly accurate with built-in calibration. It is a great SPL meter but I believe it has been discontinued. I recall it cost about $250. Probably some used ones out there somewhere at good prices. I have found that even the inexpensive ones on Amazon are far more accurate than using a phone.
