    Default New TAD bookshelf speaker

I have loved the TAD speakers I have heard in the past, including the Reference One(R1) and the Compact Reference One (CR1).

Looks like they have new interactions, but this CR1X....$89k for a pair with stands?? Yow!!!!

Ouch. For that one could get 50+ pairs of LXs.

Paying for bleeding edge technology which may yield small to no gains.

For that price, I’d get a pair of used Focal Utopia Scala EVO floor standers and pocket the huge difference.

Honestly...is there even a market for these speakers or those sort of prices...I mean folks who could actually afford these...didn't get rich by being stupid...with their money.

If there's a market for gold-plated umbrella stands, there's a market for these.
Luna Duo V2 LR, Titan Horizon V2, and Rythmik L22 & L12 in HT, Sierra-LXs in study, S-2EXs and Duo V2 C in bedroom, S-1 NrTs in dining room, S-1s at work, HTM-200s in kitchen. Brother owns CMT-340s and dad has a pair of CBM-170s.
