Default CBM-170SE YouTube review from Cheapaudioman

Interesting review of the Ascend Acoustics CBM-170SE by YouTube reviewer Cheapaudioman.

Thanks! I was not even aware of this. Nice to see our 170SE getting some attention.

    Most welcome!

I love the 170SE, a great value as with all your designs. I recently moved my 170SE pair from living room to desktop, the living room now sporting Sierra 2 EX.

I was struck by the review title mentioning the 170SE as a competitor to the KEF LS50. During my recent competitive evaluation I compared the KEF LS50 Meta, Ascend Sierra-2 EX, SVS Ultra, and Buchardt S300 MK II. Ascend won the battle!

    Now I guess I am a true Ascend fanboy, owning 170SE, HTM200SE, Sierra-2, Sierra-2 EX, and RAAL towers :-)

Thanks for all of your support. Yes, a very interesting title to the video, reviewer will likely get a lot of views because of it.

Hilarious post by Zorba on AVS:

Some interesting posts in that thread. It is rather sad, this industry has become incredibly polarized.

I've watched many of CAM's video reviews. Good entertainment value, but just his own subjective opinions. He's getting better on production value though. He's like the opposite of Amir's method. I really like Passion for Sound reviews out of Melbourne, Australia, though I don't think he does any speakers, at least that I've seen.

I agree with Zorba. Somebody is on Revel's payroll. How obvious has that been when he has slammed the most respected speakers in the industry and not just Ascend.
