Ah, I didn't realize I was looking at the wrong manual, the TA-100, the TA1 predecessor . I can't seem to find the TA1 manual. The filter at 90hz sounds fine. This moved the Emotiva up the list. Thx

Outlaw receiver nice, but hoping for something a few less cubic inches!

ok, I just placed an order for the Emotiva TA1 integrated amp. Slightly larger than I had planned, but has a decent feature set. Mag_Neato and rjkruk tipped the balance!

    Glad I could help!

Hope it works out and you don't need to take advantage of their return policy!

I finally got the Emotiva TA1 fired up. The Lunas sound great on my desk top. The TA1 is a nice package and has a class AB integrated amplifier with plenty of beef to drive the 2 Lunas. I tried adding the Orbaudio SubOne subwoofer, but it sounded boomy. So when Dave gets to the LunaEX upgrade, I will be in!

I don't think a speaker the size of a Luna is going to be able to produce the type of bass one usually wants from great sound system. In other words, time to pony up for a quality sub if you crave the low stuff. Have you got room for a Rythmik 12" sealed? I bet that would knock your socks off!

Haha! I actually have a Rythmik L12 connected to my main home theater system. I tried it out with the Lunas and it obviously sounded a lot better! Maybe I just need to sign my paychecks over to Dave
