Wow - nice to see our 340s get some well deserved recognition. I had no idea Audioholics was even looking at them.

Just picked up a pair of these in December for my living room. Already had Sierra 2s for my theater room. They are fantastic speakers for the price. (The substance). Not only that I gave my wife a choice between these and the Sierra 1s which were on sale at the time and she chose the 340s. Not that she doesn’t think that the Sierra series don’t look great, but she wanted black to be able to easily match everything. I think they look fine too. Not as good as the Sierra speakers, but they cost more money.

I have had them for a few years now. Together with the Rythmik L12 they make for a killer system for mixed music/movie use at just above $1k. The performance/price ratio is astronomical 😁.

Oh, and I agree, they are unassumingly elegant in their black finish. My comment was in reference to what Audioholics wrote.

That's a big F*** you to Audioscience and all their trashing of well respected speakers. I never took them seriously.
