Default Miss matching CMT 340 SE with old CMT 340 for HT use

    Hi!

I already own a set of CMT 340, and I wonder if this would match sonically with the newer CMT 340 SE or should I buy a complete set of SE for home Theater use.

    Thanks in advance!

The SE version does have deeper bass and more pronounced mid-bass. If you are using a subwoofer, the original version compared to the SE version will blend in will. If you are not using a sub, I would recommend an all "SE" system.

In addition, the tweeter in the SE version is more refined, but I really can't predict if someone would hear this difference or not - many customers do, others do not.

    Hope this helps!
