    Default Personal voice recorder

Currently looking for a personal voice recorder. I notice that a lot of MP3 players can now double as one of these. Recently bought a FOXDA FM6606 but don't like it. Very cumbersome to use (has a toggle and the reaction time is very slow) so that's going back today. Does anyone out there use one of these gizmo's for memo recording (has to be small like the MP3 players)? If so, which brand / type is easiest to use?

    Thanks

Bought my teenage daughter an I-Pod Mini for Christmas. I guess there is a microphone attachment for them but I've never seen how it works (or if it works very well). Expensive little bast..ds is all I know. Whatever happened to little girls wanting a Barbie for Christmas??

Teenage?? Shouldn't you be glad she hasn't asked for a car?

She did. That was first on her list and the I-Pod was second. I guess in that perspective the I-Pod does look pretty cheap.

Yeah - my first thought was I-Pod but for what we want it for it's way too expensive. Though my buddy's nephew works for them in California in some tech management position and recently sent him him an i-pod gratis - maybe I could get him to get another one

My daughter is 5....I am already feeling the pain!

    Kpt,

The voice recorders that seem to be the most hip/recommended that I know of are the ones by Olympus.

    Hey Kpt...

I use (almost daily) the Olympus DS-330. Very pleased with it..
