CBM-170 or Sierra 1 for HT

Hi, I’m looking for new speakers for my living room HT / TV. I figure the Sierra 1 is a significant improvement over the CBM-170 for music. However, this system is 90% video and only 10% music. For HT, I’m not sure if the difference is that important. Anyone with experience with both that can comment?

The CBM-170 fit my budget much better than the Sierra 1. Thanks! Jon

Quick question for you -- will you be using a subwoofer with the speakers?

Since you are using a subwoofer and since the 170's better fit your budget, I say go for them. It is amazing how many 170's we have sold this past year and how well loved these speakers are.
