    Default Painting htm200 white

I was hoping to mount some htm200e speakers as height and surround speakers but I really wish they were white! Does anyone have experience painting them? I’d appreciate some tips

I'm getting ready to cover mine in a matte white vinyl. I can post a picture when I'm done.

That's a great idea, Nate. The finished product would probaby look a lot better than a paint job. Wondering whether it's better to go for a permanent adhesive vinyl or a removable adhesive.

I used a matte vinyl from 3M. Not sure if it's considered permanent but I think I could take it off.

How did you get the white speaker grilles, Nate?

I removed the black fabric and hot glued white fabric to the frames. I could've done better but it looks good enough for me. Just do one side or half a long side at a time so the glue doesn't cool first

If you don't want to "mess" with your current grilles, you may want to ask Dave. I did this last year - for both white cabinet HTM200s and white grilles. I don't remember the exact costs for the white cabinets or white grilles (and I can't find the email with the quote). I did decide on the blacks, though, as painting wasn't inexpensive.
