In a 12x16 room, I do not think the CBM-170s will have a problem. I don't think Ferstler gave the size of he room he was in.
I am in a 14x18 room...the 170s did fine, the CMT-340s are more than substantial.

Curtis,
Can you address the issues that ocurred when the 340s were auditioned with the Rockets, Axioms, ... . I'm referring to the thread at AVSForum where cschang stated they did not sound right.

Yeah....we had a pre-production sample that seemed to have a problem in the crossover.

Most definitely. I ended up trying the 340 again about a month or so later...and kept them!
