Noticed my system is missing a bit more punch. How much of a difference would it be upgrading from my current sub Polk psw505 vs either the L12 or LV12R? Also, what's the main difference between those two?

Noticed my system is missing a bit more punch. How much of a difference would it be upgrading from my current sub Polk psw505 vs either the L12 or LV12R? Also, what's the main difference between those two?

Based on the frequency response I found of the PSw505, both of the subs you are considering would be a huge upgrade in performance. The L12 is sealed, and will provide a slightly tighter and "quicker" sound, while the LV12R is ported, and will have more output, especially at lower frequencies.
