One of them will need to be angled. I was thinking of just using an extra long nail tbh

Luna's have an integrated keyhole bracket for flush mounting to the wall. See attached pic. There is also a 1/4-20 threaded insert towards the bottom for use in attaching to a wide variety of brackets.

here is a link to an inexpensive bracket that works well with the Luna's: http://a.co/9HothvN

Dimensions have not been confirmed as of yet, but when used horizontally, the height and depth of the speaker will be the same as they are now. I think 16" width would be close - give or take an inch or two.

Would the Luna's work better than the S2's for near field listening? Such as a large desktop set up.

What would I lose to switch from the S2 to the Luna's? I'm thinking about "trading down" due to I don't listen to loud levels and I really like the design of the grills on the Luna's and wouldn't mind a smaller foot print of a speaker. I really like the Sierra-2 performance, do the Luna's match it?

Yes, I think so - but if you want deep bass you will need to pair them with a sub.
