New Tower owner in San Antonio
Hello, haven't actually received them yet but am very excited to set them up. Should be sometime in April.
We decided to make the Sierra Towers the first of several high $ (for middle income types like us anyway) audio component purchases we plan on making over the next 3 yrs while putting together a genuinely nice system. They are beautiful and from what we have researched, are a great value.
Next will be receiver or separates combo, just to find the best sound for around $2k. Emotiva seems popular here, but a nicely equipped Onkyo receiver is attractive for what we want.
More research. Got lots of time.
Glad to be in the group! Very helpful and interesting reading.

Re: New Tower owner in San Antonio
Welcome! I'm also waiting for my towers and I'm looking forward to hearing how they compare to my 16+ year old B&W 804 and HTM center. I'm using Emotiva XPA-2 and XPA-5 amps and their XMC-1 processor. Previous to the Emotiva gear, I used Rotel and Acuras amps with a Marantz processor; however, I'm glad I made the switched. As you indicated you have plenty of time, so enjoy the ride!
