Default Tweeter comparison--standard dome vs Nrt vs RALL

Can anyone help with this please?
In non technical, non audiophile terms, can anyone explain the differences (pros and cons)in the standard Sierra 1 tweeter, Nrt tweeter and RAAL tweeter. In other words, the sound quality/characteristics of each in lay persons terms.
To a non audiophile , non purists is there a DRAMATIC sound improvement in later two?
    Thanks

This is tough... The RAAL tweeter is a true ribbon tweeter. It produces sound differently than either of the dome tweeters. It is much more of pure transducer -- meaning, there is less in the way of the audio signal turning into soundwaves. It tends to sound cleaner, more detailed and smoother (less harsh) compared to dome tweeters. In general, it sounds more realistic.

Our NrT dome compared to our standard Sierra-1 dome has greater high frequency extension and faster settling times, it tends to sound more detailed and brighter compared to the standard dome tweeter.

So much depends on your particular tastes, what you are used to listening to and your source material. Please feel free to contact me directly to further discuss which might be the best option for you.

    thanks in advance!
