Tweeter position defines how the speaker is oriented, not the grille.

Tweeter is in the middle. I positioned mine so the tweeters are both closer to the back wall.

I just took a quick measurement and from the wall to the front of the side clamp (that is the farthest point from the wall) it is 10.25 inches. From the wall to the front of the 170 grille is 12 inches. I will put up pictures when I get home from work.

Hey thanks for the pictures. That looks pretty good with those mounting brackets. It doesn't stick out as far as I thought they might. I might have to take mine of my picture hangers and mount them on the mounts I ordered . Thanks again.
