Dang, spelled the first word of my last post wrong. Hate it when I do that. Supposed to be "Here's".

Well, after a YEAR of research, thinking, planning,
budgeting et al. I pulled the trigger today on my Ascend
7.1 package!
340's across the front
170's across the rear
VTF-3 MkII sub
I ordered my Anthem AVM30 pre/pro and Integra DPS 10.5
universal player (the AVM 30 is in, I gotta wait for the
Integra), and I picked up an Outlaw 770 200x7
multichannel amp! Now all I have to do is get the whole
mess wired up...
Thanks to the guys at Ascend! You couldn't have been nicer and easier
to deal with!

Wow, Mattepntr!! That'll be a great setup. I'm envious of the Outlaw. By the way, just watched the first LOTR again. Heard things that I never noticed before, like when Bilbo and Gandalf are in Bilbo's house after he disappears from his birthday party. You can hear the fire burning, every little spark and crackle!!! I'll have to watch all my favs again.

Geez Rick....NICE setup. I might have to cruise into the inland empire to check it out!
Eddie....did you skip work today? []

The weird thing is, I'm not upgrading from anything.
I never had any kind of home audio system before. Nothing
but a 27 inch stereo TV and a VCR. But when I decided to put it
together, I wanted to get the best stuff I could afford.
I think I'll be happy with this system for a LONG time...

If you're not....I'm sure we can find plenty of people that will be happy with just a piece of your system. Instead of one happy person, we can have several.
