We all would like the complete story of the components, but that will likely be included in the official release announcement. I'm sure we are a little over a week away from that.

    Finish options?

Notably, there are satin finishes in both the imported, and domestic made cabinets. I would prefer to have satin espresso that matches my Towers/ Horizon, which means the domestic cabinets are what I should be considering. My question is how much difference will there really be between the two?

The cost difference between the two doesn't bother me, and I would prefer to support the domestic cabinet shop, but after the wait, it'd be nice to get them sooner!

Edit: One other question, will the domestic cabs have the exposed reveal around the baffle?

Once a year I go to an audio show TAVES held here in Toronto. When the occasion arises I sometimes mention Ascend Acoustics to people I'm chatting with. The Ascend cap will now provide me with some backup!

PS If anyone has time and wants to see what to expect at an audio show like TAVES, Google Youtube TAVES Mark Underwood and you'll see some videos I've shot there over the last few years.

The upgrade pricing is very attractive.

    Two very important questions:
    1. how do we remove the Sierra Nr-T stickers without damaging the finish?
    2. will the upgrade kit include new screws for the drivers? I removed some of the finish on the screws doing the nrt upgrade, and it will only get worse when i manhandle them again.

    1. Just leave'em on and apply the new stickers over them!
    2. The NrT kit did not have new screws so you could ask for new ones when you put in the order,
otherwise, just touch them up with a Sharpie!

I will add a question of my own: Dave, will new gaskets be supplied with the upgrade kit?
