Good for you! It's a hell of a combo. I'm loving my p5/a21 setup so far. Let me know you thoughts!

Since this thread is so derelict, allow yours truly to start a shameless rumor about Dave's next project:

Behold, the Ascend Acoustics Sound Bar!

It's a must for customers who desire form over function. No more bulky speakers! The forthcoming Ascend Skunk-Works project, codenamed Chocolate Popsicle, is slated to bring performance and aesthetics to the modern home. It will be available in a variety of finishes and retail at just under $748. Stay tuned for further details as we get them.

Many Bothans died to bring us this information...

Why do I get the feeling that Dave just crossed me off his Thanksgiving invitation guest list. Oh well, I was really looking forward to that Turkey & Eel Pie feast...

Sound bars today suck, would love for a great one to come out that looks good and can stand toe to toe with the Sierra-1/2. What Ascend needs is a speaker like the HTM-200 that's based around the Sierra-1 or even 2 those speakers are a solid size for rears and are a great little speaker but I would love a Sierra version.

I know Dave had trouble making a smaller Sierra that was reasonably priced. (Sierra .5) Maybe it doesn't have to be smaller but just flatter and front ported to be wall mountable.

OK, admittedly I was just having some fun in my last post. I chose one of the most unlikely products that Ascend would ever offer. Soundbars would be a different ball-game since they typically include signal processing and amplification built-in to the soundbar, along with the actual speakers.

That being said, it should be cool to see what Dave comes up with next. It could be a refinement/variation of a current product (e.g. CMT-340 SE tower) or a new one altogether. I know the mini Sierra (Sierra .5) has been discussed in the past. If memory serves, there were issues bringing it to market at a reasonable price-point. I also know that Dave won't offer a product in a "me too" fashion, so that does narrow things down.

In any case, everyone will be really busy when the Sierra-2 starts shipping. Components must be tested, packaged, shipped, etc. I wonder about the last time the Ascend staff took a vacation...

I will guess $1,299.00 for the pair of Sierra-2's.
