You bet it is! in fact, That would certainly keep the upgrade cost down. which ever way you
decide will be for the best, I cant imagine these even sounding better than they already do.

Absolutely Dave, good things come to those who wait!

Now that you've sort of poo poo'd the idea that there is also a new woofer, that makes me think the cost will be more manageable for me, and that's definitely a plus!

After all of the hard work, endless hours tweaking this design, and finally having a production prototype in hand, I wonder who is truly having a harder time waiting for the efforts to at long last be divulged?

I eagerly await the unveiling, and your description/measurements of what will undoubtedly be one of the best 2-way bookshelves to see the light of day. If we then factor in the value aspect of any product from Ascend, I hope you're ready for another unexpectedly large demand for this beauty.

I've read several times the huge amount of effort, and development time that went into the design of the original Sierra mid/woofer. In the beginning of the discussion, I was relatively certain a new woofer driver was likely to be a part of the Sierra-2 package, but I wouldn't be willing to bet the farm on it LOL!
