I think a mod needs to be made to the cabinet.

Not really, as the cabinet does require modifications that demand the use of power tools. (we can do this for you but it does require returning the pair back to us)

That said, we are working on a retro-fit that would incorporate the RAAL ribbon from the Sierra-2 which would make it DIY.

That would be the plan, although swapping the crossover in the towers is a bit more complicated than with Sierra-1. I think most consumers, especially our customers, will be able to handle it.

My understating is that the Horizon doesn't get smaller overall but the shape can be modified. Such as a narrower face or less depth front to back.

We have made many custom horizons for our customers. Which dimension needs to be smaller and what is the max that this dimension can be?
