Honestly, it is best to let us handle this.
I predicted this answer almost word for word on another forum! Ha ha.

I knew the crossovers would have to be swapped out too, and figured some routing and woodworking might be involved. Sounds over my paygrade.

I really did find a NrT Horizon in the same finish as my towers. He's asking 850, but I think he'd take 750. I'm just gonna pass tho. I only have basic woodworking skills and the risk isn't worth the reward.

Dito.... furthermore you'd likely have to pay the return shipping...buying it directly from Ascend is the way to go...wish I had gone that route originally.

I have a Horizon center with NRT dome and am considering sending it to Ascend to upgrade to RAAL. Anyone know the approximate cost they charge for parts/labor? I already left a voicemail for Ascend, but I'm impatient

When I returned my horizon and being from Canada...Dave suggested that I do the return under warranty repair to avoid any unforeseen customs charges... essentially I paid for the RAAL up charge and return shipping to Ascend...they handled everything else under warranty...but that was several yrs ago and not sure exactly if things changed since that time...

Did you guys see that Amir at Audio Science Review measured the Horizon?

I tend to ignore Amir's subjective comments and focus on the measurements. That's actually a pretty glowing review coming from him.

When can we expect to see an update for the horizon center similar to what's been happening to the sierra two lineup

I'd love to know as well. An updated Horizon/Tower set will be my next speaker purchase.
