high pass RCA filters v LFE L&R inputs

Hi folks apologies for what is probably a very basic question.

Can you tell me what the pros/cons are of the 12SE with RCA filters v LFE L&R inputs please?

Initially I'm buying the sub primarily for a 2 channel music set-up. Using RCA outs from the the wyred 4 sound 2-Dac into my sub and XLR outs into my 2 channel Amp.

In the future I could imagine buying another rythmik sub for my music set-up or less likely using the sub in a 5 channel set-up. Hence I would ideally like to avoid something that prevents me from one of these choices in the future. What would you guys do in my situation?

You will have to use the LINE IN inputs if you want to use the F12 crossover.
