    Default Center channel riser

This question keeps coming up but I still haven't found the answers I'm looking for Wall mount is not an option for me. What I need is a riser for my platform stand. I did find this:

    http://www.amazon.com/Wood-Tech-TV-R.../dp/B0043WG9H4

Picture shows only 7.5" clearance but specs say up to 8.25" speaker will fit.

Anyone aware of any other riser/pedestal type solutions out there? I want to add a center 340SE to my setup.

    I have a 55" LCD that has a 22" x 11" pedestal. The stand I have it on has an 44" x 18" top.

Jim have you thought of putting your 340 center on top of your TV? I did with a bracket I bought at Crutchfield.com, I don't know how to post the link but if you go to crutchfield site and search Center Stage Bracket CSB-1210 BLK you will find it. I tried below TV, vertical and finally found this bracket, $60 shipped, worth every penny, you can angle the 340 to fire at your seating area, the 340 dialogue is superb and off axis is also very good with this orientation as per my wife who sits way off to left of center, integration with mains (340SE's) is also superb, hope this helps my friend.

    Thanks Jeff.

I was not aware of this solution and I like it. I was looking for something simple without putting holes in the wall. I'm going to order one of these.

FYI for others, here is the link:

    Thanks for the help,

Your welcome Jim, it is really easy to assemble and attach to your TV, it makes for a professional installation, nothing visible from the front view, looks like the 340 is suspended on air. Comes with a very effective anti scratch and slip cover to keep the speaker from sliding as mine is angled downward and the 340 does not move or vibrate while listening, very effective solution, will hold large and heavy center channel speakers. I have the front of my 340 center about 1/4-3/8 overhang from the top of my flat panel plasma, this seems to work well with the least amount of sound reflection off the screen, also you can tell how well the EXBAC circuit of the 340SE center performs with this orientation. Enjoy, glad I could help.
    Cheers Jeff
