    Default pre amp

So i find myself using my phone to listen to music more often than i like, one downside to that i have to turn the volume up more to compensate. Would a pre amplifier like this be a good thing.

Can you explain how you are listening to the music stored on the phone?

What is your phone connected to?

So you are having to turn the volume up on the phone to get the proper listening level.

What kind of phone is it?

What about turning the volume up on the receiver?

I don't think a preamp will help you in this case.

well i have my phone volume at 90%, my reciever at +4. some songs i will have to turn the reviever volume all the way up to get to my listening level, i dont overkill it though. Basically i just want the rca signal boosted but a clean boost.
