So do you drive into Cleveland for audio stores now?
-
Most of where I shop is the Speaker Shop in Buffalo, they carry a great line up. For speakers alone they have Quad, Klipsch, Def Tech, Paradigm, B&W, Gallo... they are truly a high end store, with high end pricing.

I forget how close that is to Erie. I know my people in Erie go across just for lunch frequently.

There are a number of good shops in and around "C"town, though I haven't been in any to buy anything, only to compare what they have to my internet purchases and feel good about the money I've saved!!

Quinn - You have people in Erie ? Relatives ? Employees ?

Hi Craig -
Enjoyed reading all your reviews at the Spot. Good reading!
Just wondering if you've considered going with all Ascend 340's - L/C/R & surrounds? Wouldn't this be the ideal setup for DVD-Audio or SACD playback?

Mark - I went with 170's for surrounds for 2 reasons... They will fit the wife's decor a bit easier, and they were already here... the review pair. Not that anyone has suggested otherwise, but I am buying them through normal channels, paying the same price as anyone.
This is a non-profit deal...[8D]
Thanks for the kind words... very nice !

Relatives by marriage. Pisano and Consider.

I know of both those names... My wife has a lot of family in Texas, most are around Midland...
