New Sierras and Q-Plug question

I just got my new Sierras in last night. Only had a few minutes to listen to them but they sounded great.

I was a little overzealous on unpacking my q-plugs and might have thrown away the instructions. How do I install Q-Plug A into the ports? Cap side first or open side first? Also, should they be sticking out a little or completely flush?
