That's great curtis. I think it speaks loads about a speaker (pun not intended) that 'regular people,' who aren't obsessed with audio like a drug, enjoy the difference a setup like the 340s can make. I bought my dad and stepmom a pair of CBM-170s last christmas, and they absolutely love them, even just for listening to TV. My dad is a composer (aside from his day job) and he keeps trying to take the Ascends down to his studio to use them as Monitors My stepmom won't let him though, hehe. Anyhow, just trying to add to the warm fuzzy feelings....

Right now they are using a used STF-2 I bought for them. My Dad picked up a pair of used CBM-170's, and when the new furniture arrives they will get a CMT-340c. I gave them my HK 525 and will hook everything up and calibrate it for them when time comes. They will be set.
