Me too, but I have read that DTS is louder than DD, so that may have something to do with it.

I have noticed that DTS than DD on some movies too. But I usually choose the DTS track because it uses less compression than DD, and because of that I would think it should sound better...but I don't really know.

I always choose DTS when it is available on dvd disc. The sound is more engaging.More umph!
