    Default Crossover

What is the best budget external crossover to use with the Sierra's and a sub?

Are you looking for a passive or active unit?

I don't have any recommendations, but I'm curious about your setup and what you're trying to accomplish that would require an external crossover.

I'm mostly a hifi noob, but I did see this one a while back from NHT, which has XLR and RCA connections.

This one from amazon.com should also work. Has RCA and regular wire connections it seems.

I don't know what interference an extra component like this in the signal path will do to the sound. Might be noticeable, might not.
