Still waiting on the final numbers for everthing but we are aiming for $1800 - $1900 / pair. We are really trying to keep the cost under $2K/pair, but with made in the USA solid bamboo cabinets, assembly in the US, piano gloss finish, NrT tweeter -- it is proving to be quite a challenge.

    Hi Mark,

The first couple production runs will be limited in quantity as is typical with our bamboo cabinets. We do have a pre-order list and if you would like to get in on this first batch of cabinets, please give us a call or send us an email and we will gladly add you to the list

Even though the towers are not in the budget, I am looking forward to their release so people can start posting their impressions of them.

The Sierra-NrT upgrade has elevated my Sierra-1's a level or two in overall performance. In addition to the extended top end, with superior air and resolution, they have improved midrange presence and clarity as well as imaging.

    Hi Everyone.....

For those of you who have listened to the new Ascend Tower pre-release, how does it compare to either the Image PSB T6 or Imagine T? I was about to pull the trigger on PSB until a friend of mine mentioned that Ascend was coming out with a new Tower speaker.

    Thanks
    Cheers

I believe the only speaker that was present along with the prototype tower for the listening session at Ascends' headquarters was a pair of Salk Songtowers. The Ascend towers compared quite favorably to those.

A comparison to other speakers will have to wait until these are in the homes of customers.

Quite favorably? Does that mean some folks felt they were better speakers? Almost better? Much better?

Lets put it this way, at one listening session, one gentleman, who owns neither Ascends or Salks said "why are we even listening to the Songtowers any more?"
